Brief Description

Due to the gaps in literature surrounding diversity engagement, Maiorescu and Wrigley, have created a book to address the gaps and investigate the newest corporate engagement in diversity. This book examines the diversity approaches of twenty-eight US companies from ten industries to create a theoretical framework whose practical application allows companies to make significant contributions to their operating environments. The context addresses current challenges American corporations face in diversity engagement and suggests implementing a new social responsibility that aims to address inequality at a global scale by focusing more on the local environment and less on the immediate business benefits. This book discusses diversity engagement in global business environments, therefore making it applicable to international companies that operate at a global scale.
