Brief Description
Whether a group is sequenceable is a question on the boundary of group theory and combinatorics. It has been explicitly studied since Gordon introduced the concept in 1960, although the idea is implicit in earlier work too. It is a question that gives rise to many applications and related theoretical question. This article is a survey of both the history of the problem and the current state of the art.
